Ave Maria March for Life – January 18, 2025
Year one and year two Confirmation students are welcome to join us this year for Ave Maria’s Annual March for Life!
Please remember that for anyone who was unable to participate in this year’s DOV Youth Rally, this March for Life Rally will go towards that requirement. If you did not attend the DOV Youth Rally and will miss the March for Life Rally, you will be required to participate in next year’s Youth Rally.
Registrations, forms and payment, are due no later than January 13th. Please see the forms for more information!
What is March for Life?
March for Life is to promote the beauty and dignity of every human life by working to end abortion—uniting, educating, and mobilizing pro-life people in the public square. We march because we envision a future world where every human life is valued and protected.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: “Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law” (No. 2271).
